What is ‘804’ Day?
To celebrate the Richmond community, this year will be the inaugural “804 Day” – held on August 4th in a nod to Richmond’s area code.
Shockoe Records, 17th Street Market, Radio One, and Richmond VA Parks & Recreation are partnering to host a block party in Shockoe Bottom. Enjoy live entertainment from 17 Richmond artists spanning 4 four stages. There will also be art vendors to check out and food and drinks to savor.
CityParking is joining in on the celebration as an official sponsor of the event. With four parking lots within a five minute walk of the venue, festival fun is easy and accessible. Whether you’re coming from across town or are setting up to spend the entire day downtown, our parking locations can keep your day stress free.
This family-friendly event hopes to be a symbol of love and unity for the Richmond community that brings people together to celebrate the success of the neighborhoods.
The block party will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. between 16th and 17th Streets and from East Main to East Grace Streets.

What You Need to Know About Parking
As an official sponsor for the event, CityParking is providing our Loving’s Parking (Lot 160) for the block party.
While this space will be closed off for partygoers, we have several locations close by offering parking at a special event rate of $10. For one flat fee, your parking will be covered for the duration of 804 Day! This offer is available for:
- Lot 222: 17th St. & Ambler (2 min walk)
- Lot 180: 18th & East Grace (4 min walk)
- Lot 801: 18th & E. Main (4 min walk)
- Lot 15: 15th & Main (5 min walk)
